GGSort enables to sort and compress graphics groups in the active MicroStation design file.
GGSort is marked by following properties:
Sorting (ascending) – the sequence of the elements stored in the Microstation file is determined by their graphic group, at the end of the file there are elements without any graphic group.
Compression – there remain only the necessary number of graphic groups in the design file, not used graphic groups are removed.
It is possible to sort and compress graphic groups “collectively” by defining the entry and output directories.
After the first start of the application there will be made the file ggsort.rsc in the directory structure (the variable MS_DATA) of the MicroStation, in which all recently set values will be saved – it means after the next start of the application GGSort will the values stay the same as they were with the previous start.
Help of the GGSort application is available directly from MDL application GGSort on the internet.
GGSort is available for MicroStation V8i, PowerDraft V8i and Bentley Map PowerView V8i on the Windows XP/Vista/7/8 platform.
